Teams are required to design, build, race and demonstrate a single person, open-cockpit, open-wheeled car assuming they have been engaged by a firm to produce a prototype car for evaluation as a production item. These cars are then judged on the basis of the aggregate of points they score in separate events classified broadly into two event types, That is STATIC and DYNAMIC events.
